All accredited Educational Supervisors are required to undertake an annual e-learning update.
The first annual e-learning update was launched in January 2013, and all accredited Educational Supervisors will be receiving an email about this from Severn Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME). Access to annual e-learning update course will use the log in credentials as supplied by Severn PGME.
Those who were accredited before the 31st December 2012 will have to complete the 2013 annual update by end of January 2014. Educational Supervisors who are fully trained during the year 2013 will not need to start undertaking e-learning updates until 2014. If you are unsure whether or not you need to undertake the e-learning update please contact your Trust Director of Medical Education or The Severn Education Team, Medical Education Development Manager at Severn Postgraduate Medical Education.
