For Core T&O Trainees. Course is free, but limited to 12 places (please register). See attachment/below for further information.
Aim - Designed to revise basic examination skills and introduce special tests useful for fracture and elective clinics and on-call work.

- 1045-1200 Elbow examination – Mr Crowther
- 1200-1230 Discussion/Troubleshooting
- 1230-1315 Lunch
- 1315-1430 Wrist examination – Mr Bhatia
- 1430-1500 Break
- 1500-1615 Hand examination – Mr Bhatia
- 1615-1645 Discussion/Troubleshooting
- 1645 Closing remarks
Individual joints/subspecialty areas
- Introduction and demonstration from Subspecialty Consultant
- Opportunities to practice with Medical Student models (2:1 Core Trainees to medical student)
- Chance for discussion with Subspecialist Consultants and troubleshooting
- Potential for Consultants to bring a patient(s) with interesting physical signs
- Senior SpRs circulating during the sessions for advice and tips

Each session to last approximately 1-1.5 hours with a short break (15 minutes) between sessions and a longer break for lunch (45 minutes to 1hour)
NB local Consultants would only have to be available for a couple of hours
