Train the Trainers Day - 16th April 2019

• This is aimed at consultant radiologists and senior radiology registrars

• It will focus on best practice workplace-based education.

• The overall goal is to improve their teaching effectiveness

• The objectives are to

• Explain how the ES report is crucial for trainee progression
• Understand the ARCP process
• Explain the steps involved in the Set, Dialogue and Closure Model
• Be able to give effective feedback
• Successful reduce mental, organisational and physical barriers to learning
• Know a range of skills to provide good education when time is short
• Skilfully support doctors in difficulty


The training will be led by Paul McCoubrie,  Head of School and Dr Tim Saunders, Training Programme Director

6 RCR-approved CPD points will be awarded
