This 1/2 day workshop will provide delegates with the tools to support international medical graduates:

• Better understand the challenges and unique opportunities faced by International Medical Graduates

• Feel more confident in supporting new doctors, providing an enhanced induction and more structured supervision

• Be aware of ways of optimising training opportunities to support career progression for International Medical Graduates

• Have reflected on the importance of protective factors to maintain wellbeing when adapting to a new healthcare service

Who should attend

This course has been designed for supervisors looking to support international medical graduates. Delegates will leave with the knowledge required to effectively support international medical graduates navigate and adapt to a new healthcare service.
