To raise awareness of bullying and harassment in the workplace and the legal aspects of this critical subject.
Content
This 1/2 day workshop will provide delegates with the tools to navigate bullying and harassment in the workplace by being able to:
- Understand what Bullying, harassment and victimisation is
- Make observations from legal employment focussed case studies
- Understand The Equality Act and their responsibilities
- Understand what is Discrimination – direct/indirect
- Understand the protected characteristics
- Understand the Equality Duty for public sector organisations
- Understand where the Equality Act does not apply
Who should attend
This course has been designed for supervisors who are looking to develop their own knowledge on the legal aspects of Bullying and Harassment. Delegates will leave with the knowledge to support themselves when dealing with potential bullying and harassment in the workplace.
